How many seats fit
The math: about 30 to 34 inches of width per recliner, 5 to 6 feet of depth per reclined row, plus walkways. A 12-foot-wide room fits three to four seats per row. A 16-to-20-foot-deep room fits two rows with a riser. We lay it out on your exact measurements — geometry, not guessing.
Risers: seeing over the front row
Two rows need a riser — typically 8 to 12 inches — so the back row sees over the front. The height depends on screen size and seating distances; we calculate it. Risers get carpeted, step-lit for safety, and wired for bass shakers during construction (the theme-park-seat effect, ready when you are).
Sightlines: the check that matters
Every seat needs a clear view of the whole screen — no craning, no heads in the way. We check sightlines during design: screen height, seat back heights, riser height, row spacing. Front-row seat backs that are too tall block the back row; we account for it in the seat selection.
Curves and configurations
A gentle curve to the row angles end seats toward the screen — better viewing angles, more cinema feel. Loveseat sections (no middle armrest) suit couples. For multi-use rooms, L-shaped or sectional arrangements keep the space social. We configure for how you actually sit.
